When we first tasted the result of this blend of white grape varieties typical of southern Sardinia, we were without any idea about the label’s name.
The result is a “tempter” glass, an invitation to take a moment to relax which then transforms a day. Hence the name Perdigiournou, “Idler”.
It has a floral scent, enveloping and silky taste .
With this same name, pronounced in Genoese dialect “perdigiurnu”, they call the herons that spend the day on one leg, motionless. Or at best they fly with light wing beats from a stop to another.
